There are several things that cause duplicate content in blogger. Among them are duplicates that occur due to the archive pages, search, and the most common is the duplicate content for the mobile version of the page.
So how to overcome in order to avoid duplicate content?
The trick is easy, but must be adapted to the cause, so not all of duplicate content can be handled in the same way. Ok, just see good following way:
1. Duplicate Content Because of Page Labels
In the default state is actually a page label gives a chance to not indexed by search engines, namely the robots.txt file. Yet somehow, sometimes the label still indexed pages by search engines which ultimately lead to duplicate content.
The solution my friend must enter a unique code manually into your blog template.
Please pal add the code below can be under the <head> in the template of your blog:
<B: if cond = 'data: the blog.searchLabel'><Meta content = "noindex, nofollow 'name =' robots' /></ B: if>
2. Duplicate Content Because Page Archive and Search
To cope with duplicate content occurs because the archive pages and search it is very easy, no need to enter a special code, you just need to set search preferences settings on the dashboard of your blog.
Sign into your blog dashboard> Settings> Preferences search> Enable specific robots header tags. Next live adjust as shown below:
3. Duplicate Content Because of Page Mobile Version
The most common cause of duplicate content that occurs in blogger is due to the mobile version of the page in blogger because every blogger posts have three different URLs with the same content.
Like this example:
Original URL: namablogku404.blogspot.com/2015/09/postingan-keren.html
Mobile version URL: namablogku404.blogspot.com/2015/09/postingan-keren.html?m=1
URL desktop version: namablogku404.blogspot.com/2015/09/postingan-keren.html?m=0
If all the above URL indexed by Google, there will be three duplicate content in one post.
Why why be indexed?
After researching more about this problem I infer this from happening because of the use of templates blogger Valid HTML.
Loh how come?
Valid HTML templates blogger average eliminate some important code in blogger. One is the code <b: include data = 'blog' name = 'all-head-content' />.
One function of the code is to display the code rel = "canonical" essential to overcome duplicate content.
There are some valid HTML templates that install code rel = "canonical" manually, but the code can not function optimally as it should.
And what is the solution?
The easiest solution: Change Template.
Another solution:
If there is, delete this code in the template:
<Link expr: href = 'Data: blog.url' rel = 'canonical' />
Continue to post the code under the <head>:
<B: include data = 'blog' name = 'all-head-content' />
All of the above has been my own practice and the results are then (before moving to WordPress) blog I have not experienced such thing as duplicate content. But even then I am not responsible if after practicing the above way your blog is missing from the search results or deindex.
It is important to note, after applying the above buddy can not directly see the results, it took weeks until months until visible results. My blog alone takes about a month or more before finally free from the problem of duplicate content.
